be quiet! expands Pure Base 501 case lineup with LX and DX variants

be quiet! is expanding its popular Pure Base 501 case lineup with two new models: the Pure Base 501 LX and Pure Base 501 DX. These additions cater to users seeking stylish aesthetics and enhanced cooling capabilities while retaining the core features that made the original Pure Base 501 a favourite among PC builders.

The Pure Base 501 LX builds upon the existing Pure Base 501 Airflow Window model, adding a touch of brilliance with ARGB lighting. While it might appear similar to its predecessor, the LX variant shines once powered on. Instead of the standard two Pure Wings 3 fans, the Pure Base 501 LX has four Light Wings LX fans: three 120mm PWM fans in the front for intake and a larger 140mm PWM fan at the rear for exhaust. An included ARGB/fan hub further expands customisation options, supporting up to six ARGB devices and PWM fans.

The Pure Base 501 DX offers a redesigned front panel with integrated lighting for those who prefer ARGB strips over fans. The high-airflow intake front panel blends functionality and aesthetics, while three Pure Wings 3 140mm PWM fans (one more than the standard model) ensure the needed cooling performance. The front panel's RGB lighting extends inwards, creating a subtle yet captivating glow within the case.

The LX and DX variants retain the core features defining the Pure Base 501 series. They offer full support for ATX, microATX, and Mini-ITX motherboards, ample space for high-end graphics cards (including vertical mounting options), and support for versatile cooling configurations. A decoupled dual HDD cage provides flexible storage options, and the innovative cable routing system ensures a clean and tidy interior. Modern connectivity is provided with a front panel USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port.

Like the Pure Base 501 Window models, the LX and DX versions feature a side panel window to showcase your components. However, these new models add a front-panel button to control the ARGB lighting effects. Available in both black and white starting March 11th, the Pure Base 501 LX and DX are backed by a three-year manufacturer warranty. The DX models will cost £89.99/$124.90/€124.90, and the LX will cost £99.99/$144.90/€144.90.
