EKWB launch a new distribution plate for Fractal Design cases

EK Water Blocks has launched a new distribution plate series for a range of Fractal Design cases. EK worked in partnership with the Swedish case manufacturer during the design of The EK-Quantum Reflection Fractal ATX D5 PWM D-RGB distribution plate to ensure enthusiasts who wish to build a custom cooling loop in the latest Fractal Design chassis can do so with minimal effort.

The EK-Quantum Reflection Fractal ATX D5 PWM D-RGB distribution plate provides an advanced custom water cooling solution for supported Fractal Design cases including the new Define 7 and 7 XL series, as well as the Define R6, Define S2, Vector RS and the Meshify S2.

This new distro plate is designed to offer a pump/reservoir combination with a simple mounting solution and features several standard G1/4” threaded inlet and outlet ports to simplify the installation and configuration of a custom water cooling loops inside the supported Fractal Design cases. It can support a single CPU block, up to two GPU blocks, two radiators and comes supplied with a D5 pump.

Suggested radiator compatibility for supported Fractal Design cases (top+front):

  • Define 7 – EK-CoolStream PE 360 + EK-CoolStream SE 240
  • Define 7 XL – EK-CoolStream XE 360 or EK-CoolStream CE 420 + EK-CoolStream PE 360
  • Define R6 – EK-CoolStream PE 360 + EK-CoolStream PE 240
  • Define S2 – EK-CoolStream PE 360 + EK-CoolStream SE 240
  • Vector RS – EK-CoolStream PE 360 + EK-CoolStream SE 240
  • Meshify S2 – EK-CoolStream PE 360 + EK-CoolStream SE 240

EK Water Blocks has engineered the EK-Quantum Reflection Fractal ATX D5 PWM D-RGB distribution plate to be installed next to the motherboard so that it does not hinder airflow from entering the case. The distro plate also includes an addressable D-RGB lighting strip that runs the entire length of the unit with an anodised black cover hiding the LED hotspots. The RGB lighting connects to standard motherboard headers and can be controlled and configured via motherboard RGB software.

Full specification of the EK-Quantum Reflection Fractal ATX D5 PWM D-RGB distribution plate can be found on the EK Water Blocks site, the product is expected to start shipping from 23rd March and is available to pre-order from the EKWB Webshop now, priced at €272.17.
