Cooler Master Silencio 650 Review

The Silencio 650 ships in a white and purple box, indicative of the company colour scheme. The front of the box displays a photo of the case itself along with the product name and a list of features Cooler Master like to highlight.

The side and rear of the packaging explain some of the features and specifications more thoroughly.

The front of the case features an aluminium door that is solid in construction with the Cooler Master logo proudly displayed. The inside of this door is adequately padded with noise dampening foam and has 2 magnetised stoppers that allow the door to remain shut and flush with the front of the case.

At the top of the chassis there are 2 sliding panels. These cover the IO panel at the front and a vent at the rear.

The front panel features standard power and reset switches, 2x USB 2.0 ports, 2x USB 3.0 ports, audio out and microphone ports in addition to an SD card reader. There is also an integrated fan controller and a dual boot HDD switch.

The rear of the case is nicely laid out, featuring a 120mm exhaust fan, 7+1 expansion plates and watercooling grommets.

  2. Nah thats not my kind of case, nice idea, but I think they make better cases for the money.

  4. Cooler Master make a lot of great cases, if you want to reduce noise which is the focus of this case, id just get one of their storm trooper cases and use different fans. much the same price http://www.kitguru.net/components/cases/zardon/cooler-master-storm-trooper-case-review/ better cooling, looks nicer etc.
