Cubitek Tattoo Fire Mid-Tower Case Review

Overall we are quite impressed with what the Cubitek Tattoo Fire has to offer.  Build quality is very good and the quality of the steel used is top notch. Additionally, the design of the case is sleek and elegant and is sure to appeal to a wide range of users.  We do feel that Cubitek could have included USB 3.0 functionality, especially in such a competitive market.

We love the bright red painted interior of the Tattoo Fire as it looks stunning and differentiates it from the competition.  We are also glad that Cubitek have opted for a side-panel window as it exposes the system build, accompanied with the bright interior.

Cooling is also well provided for with three fans included, filling all the locations we would expect.  There is extensive provision for tool-less installation including clip on rails for the hard drives and thumbscrews for the side panels.  There are also tool-less clips for the expansion slots but these don't work very well so we would recommend using screws to secure expansion devices, especially if they are heavy graphics cards.

The price of 70 Euros at CaseKing.de translates into about £60 in the UK.  At this price we feel that the Cubitek Tattoo Fire offers good value for money.  It has all the features we would ask for at this price so we would recommend it without hesitation.

Pros:

  • Sleek Design.
  • Red interior.
  • Good Cooling.
  • Reasonably quiet.
  • Built well.

Cons:

  • No USB3.0 support.

  1. Thats a really well designed case for the price. never heard of this company

  2. They make good value for money products. our local store stocks their range and last time I spoke with one of the sales guys he said they can’t stock them fast enough to keep up with demand

  3. I actually like the design with the red interior. I can see how a lot of people wouldn’t be very fond of it though.

Seems foolish not including USB3 front panel connectivity at this stage of the game. I’m actually shocked to see the amount of new cases coming out that don’t have USB3 yet.
