Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 specs leak

SamMobile have leaked information regarding the upcoming Galaxy Note 8.0 tablet. They claim that the new tablet will feature an 8 inch 1280×800 TFT (Super Clear LCD) display. They say there will be two versions – the Samsung GT-N5100, a 3G+WiFi version and the GT-N5110, which is Wi-Fi only.

The website say that the tablet will measure 211.3 x 136.3 x 7.95 mm and will weigh around 330 grams.

The list of specifications continues with a battery capacity of 4600mAh, 2GB of ram and the option of either 16Gb or 32GB of internal storage. The tablet will incorporate a 5 MP rear camera and a 1.3 megapixel front camera. The new Galaxy Note 8.0 is likely to run Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). Other connectivity is said to include Bluetooth version 4.0, USB 2.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n and A-GPS.

Additionally, the device will support the S-Pen.

Processing power is still a bit of a mystery although Slashgear did note that it could be the powerful Exynos 4 quad core chip or even Samsung's Exynos 5 Octa processor which is said to feature in the Galaxy S IV and Galaxy Note III.
