Google Glass testers get Google Now cards, voice commands

Google Glass is still with the early testers and while videos and information showing the device in action have popped up online, the mass public still haven't been able to get their hands on it. Google have recently applied some updates to the device.

Google Now features in the update. When an event reservation (such as booking dinner in a restaurant) is approaching, the system will receive a Now Card, tied in with an initial email. The Glass version of Now Card will also include movie showtimes at nearby theaters, as well as emergency alerts.

The update also features voice command changes. Some third party services can be accessed from the main menu. Saying ‘take a note' will open a document in Evernote for instance.

If this is interesting to you, then you can check out the full change list over on this page at Google+.

Kitguru says: Might be a while before this is on sale to the mass public, but it is shaping up well.
