Synology wants you to check out its new software

Networked Attached Storage (NAS) maker, Synology, has announced that the official unveiling of its DiskStation Manager software, version 5.0, will take place in January and it wants you to be there when it does it.

Set to take place on the 16th January at the Millbank Cinema and Media Centre in London, Synology's launch event will give you a look at the new DSM 5.0 beta and will also showcase some important changes to the NAS operating system. As a visitor you'll get some hands on time with the new DSM, as well as other products from Synology.

There's going to be competitions too, with the chance to win Synology hardware, including a fully functioning DiskStation NAS.
