You can grab a QHD/240Hz OLED gaming monitor for under £500 during Prime Day

OLED gaming monitors are finally starting to come down in price, with QHD and 4K options now readily available under £1000. During Prime Day this week, you can make the jump to OLED for even less, with AOC's QHD Agon Pro model dropping under £500 for a limited time.

Prime Day has officially kicked off today and one particular monitor deal quickly caught our attention. AOC has discounted its AGON Pro AG276QZD OLED gaming monitor, bringing the price down to a shade under £475.

This monitor uses a 27-inch OLED panel with QHD resolution and a native 240Hz refresh rate with 0.03ms response time, making it one of the most ideal options for competitive gamers seeking to gain an edge. With OLED, you get a much higher contrast ratio compared to LCD panels, faster pixel response and true blacks. HDR10 is supported here, and you get access to adaptive sync technologies like FreeSync and G-Sync to avoid screen tearing.

For connectivity, the monitor packs a DP1.4 connector and HDMI 2.0. While this makes it an ideal monitor for PC gaming, those with a PS5 or Xbox Series X/S may want to consider a HDMI 2.1 monitor instead if you are looking to take advantage of console 120Hz modes.
