NZXT unveils Signal 4K30 and HD60 capture cards for livestreaming

NZXT is revamping its streaming hardware efforts this summer with the launch of two new external capture cards. The new Signal 4K30 and Signal HD60 cards are compatible with any HDMI device, so you capture footage from a console or PC for streaming or gaming videos.

The NZXT Signal capture cards help creators to get into streaming without a large investment. Simply plug it into a USB gen 3.2 port and any HDMI device such as a game console, camera or PC, and you are ready to stream with any video-capturing software such as OBS.

Both capture cards have self-explanatory names. The Signal 4K30 captures at up to 4K resolution with 30 frames per second. However, you can also capture passing through footage in 4K/HDR at 60 frames per second, or at 1440p at up to 144 frames per second, or at 1080p at up to 240 frames per second. The Signal HD60 is capable of 1080p at 60 frames per second.

Both Signal capture cards can directly connect to OBS, Streamlabs, and other streaming software. They are also compatible with Skype, Zoom, Discord, or any other video calling software. If you want to take things a step further, you can also pick up the optional NZXT Chat Cable, a 2-metre cable that allows you to capture audio from multiple sources. For instance, you'll be able to hear and capture game audio from a console, and Discord audio coming from a PC.

The NZXT Signal HD60 will be available soon for £129.99, and the 4K30 will be launching at £169.99. The optional Chat Cable will cost $9.99 in the US, but UK pricing is still TBC.
