Nvidia and Corsair team up to bring Nvidia Broadcast features to iCUE and Elgato software

Nvidia impressed us all with its Broadcast software a few years ago, enabling RTX GPU owners to use some of their GPU power to enhance your microphone and webcam for streams or just normal video calls. Now, key features from the Nvidia Broadcast software will be integrated with Corsair's iCUE and Elgato tools. 

In an announcement yesterday, Corsair and Nvidia announced that the AI effects to enhance microphones and cameras will be heading to Corsair iCUE, Elgato Wave Link and Elgato Camera Hub. If you don't have Nvidia Broadcast, or just want to scale back the amount of software you have running at one time, then you'll now be able to use Nvidia's AI background noise filter through Corsair and Elgato software. You will also be able to use AI effects to set up a virtual green screen, or add camera filters to your background for video conferences or streams.

Utilising the new NVIDIA Broadcast effects in CORSAIR and Elgato software is fast and simple. For instance, if iCUE detects a Corsair headset or a ST100 headset stand connected to your PC, you'll be prompted to download the audio plug-in to add noise removal effects. The only headset that is not supported is the Corsair HS75 XB Wireless, as this headset is designed for use with Xbox consoles. A plugin for Elgato Wave Link will also be made available.

In the Elgato Camera Hub, a new tab will appear with additional camera effects, like background blur, background removal and virtual green screen.

Of course, for Nvidia Broadcast effects to work, you will also need a PC with a compatible graphics card. Currently, Nvidia Broadcast supports all RTX 20 series and RTX 30 series GPUs, the TITAN RTX and Quadro RTX GPUs.
