ECS unveils new Liva Z5 Mini PCs with Intel 14th Gen processors

ECS is back with a new round of mini PCs. The new Liva Z5 Plus, Liva Z5E Plus and Liva Z5F Plus are built for industry-specific applications, with the ability to connect up to four displays to power things like electronic whiteboards, airport flight systems and Point of Service systems.

The new Liva Z5 series is powered by Intel 13th and 14th Generation Core processors, offering up to 10 cores to efficiently handle tasks, as well as support for WiFi 6E, enabling fast data transmission speeds and playback. While small and compact, these systems also support multiple storage drives, so they can be upgraded with M.2 NVMe SSDs, or a 2.5-inch SSD or HDD. To ensure high-speed connectivity, the system also boasts two 2.5G ports and support vPro and physical TPM for added security.

Designed for vertical industry applications, LIVA Z5 Plus and Z5E Plus are certified as Intel Edge Software Recommended Hardware. Serving as ideal solutions for multi-display industrial needs, they boast 4K/UHD image processing, two HDMI ports, a DisplayPort and USB Type-C with Alt DP. The Z5E Plus, in particular, features four COM interfaces, seamlessly connecting to various industrial applications such as POS systems for quick checkout processes and barcode scanners for accurate tracking and management of goods.

In addition to supporting a multi-display solution for up to four screens, the fanless design of the LIVA Z5F Plus provides an ideal solution for industrial environments, where dust accumulation can lead to maintenance costs and shorten a system's lifespan.
