Computex 2024: Acer launches trio of OLED gaming monitors, new laptops & more

Acer's booth at Computex this year is packed with new product launches. Join Dom & Leo as we take a closer look at Acer's 2024 line-up, including new ‘AI PCs', gaming systems and more.

Acer has unveiled three new OLED gaming monitors in its Predator line-up: the Predator X27U F3, Predator X32 X3, and Predator X34 X5. These monitors boast high refresh rates, 99% DCI-P3 colour gamut support and ultra low response times thanks to the OLED panel. The 27-inch X27U tops out at 480Hz, while the X32 X3 offers 4K at 240Hz. The X34 X5 is Acer's latest gaming ultrawide, with an 1800R curved OLED panel, UWQHD resolution and 240Hz refresh rate.

If you are looking for something a little more budget-friendly, the Acer Nitro GA1 series offers 21-inch and 27-inch QHD options with low input lag and up to 180Hz refresh rate.

If you're looking to upgrade your network, then the Predator Connect W6X aims to make that process easier. This is a WiFi 6 router that prioritises traffic for games, so you can minimise things like packet loss to keep online-related frustrations to a minimum.

Acer also has a new line-up of premium Chromebooks hitting the market, powered by Intel Core Ultra processors, and offering a 120Hz display, so you can make the most out of a cloud gaming membership, like GeForce Now Ultimate, which offers 120FPS streaming.

KitGuru Says: Acer's new trio of OLED gaming monitors certainly look the part. It will be interesting to see how they compare to other recently launched QD-OLED displays from earlier in the year.
