Intel schedules Innovation 2023 event for September 19-20

The Intel Innovation 2023 event date has been set. Like the 2022 edition, the event will occur in September and run for two days in San Jose, California. We don't know exactly what will be shown and announced yet, but recent rumours give us a pretty good idea.

Intel's annual Innovation event is not your typical product showcase. It aims to capture the attention of various industry professionals, including hardware and software developers, architecture experts, technology managers, researchers, and influencers. While the event covers the entire Intel product portfolio, last year's keynote presentation by CEO Pat Gelsinger did include the unveiling of the 13th Gen Core “Raptor Lake” processors for desktops.

Currently, rumours claim that Intel will launch 14th Gen Core series processors this year, based on an improved version of Raptor Lake, with higher clock speeds. While the exact timing of the release has not been confirmed, early reports suggest that Intel will likely announce it in late Q3. Historically, this period aligns with Intel's pattern of launching its new K-series processors, and at the same time, with the Innovation event.

Intel Innovation is also where we can expect to see any public updates to the company's roadmap. We may gain insight into the next generation of Arc GPUs, codenamed ‘Battlemage'.

Intel Innovation is scheduled for September 19-20th. Although it will be an in-person event, Intel is expected to provide a live stream for those unable to attend in person.
