Dr Lisa Su will be hosting a keynote at CES 2023

As usual, AMD will be hosting a keynote at CES 2023 to share upcoming products. At the moment, it's unclear what the company will be showcasing, but it should be something big, considering Dr Lisa Su herself will be hosting it.

For those interested in checking it out, the keynote is scheduled for January 4th, 2023, at 6:30 pm PST (January 5th, 2:30 am BST). As for what we can expect from it, there are a lot of possibilities. The description is quite vague – the keynote will “highlight the next generation of high-performance and adaptive computing innovations, and products”.

If you take a guess, the Ryzen 7000 laptop series would be a good bet. AMD has been announcing new generations of laptop CPUs at CES for some time, and we believe it will keep doing so. New EPYC server processors and other HPC products may also have some airtime, as is usual in AMD keynotes at the conference. Rumours claim we should also see the reveal of the first Ryzen 7000 chips with 3D V-Cache, but we'll have to wait and see. Lastly, we could also see the company announce new GPUs (mobile and desktop) and software.

CES 2023 will run from January 5th to the 8th, but keynotes like this may be broadcasted the day before. Intel and Nvidia have yet to announce their presence at the conference, but most certainly will be there.

The launch of the new Intel Core Ultra 200S family of CPUs along with Z890 motherboards was a thorny process. KitGuru suffered along with pretty much every other review site on the planet and you may have noticed we held off from reviewing of the Core Ultra 9 285K, Core Ultra 7 265K and Core Ultra 5 245K as it is clear to us that Intel has some work to do before this platform is ready for action.
