Bugatti are well known globally for producing some of the world's fastest, and most expensive sports cars. They are releasing only eight Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse World Record Car limited editions. The car will hit a top speed of 254 mph and is classed as the worlds fastest convertible. We would imagine the eight limited edition models are already snapped up by lucky multi millionaires.
The company planned a China focused debut for the model, asking Anthony Liu, the well known entrepreneur and car enthusiast to drive it into the record books before it was to be showcased at China's largest automotive show.
Dr. Wolfgang Schreiber, Bugatti's president said “China is one of the most important markets in Bugatti’s strategy for the future and we are aiming for a growth here that will be stable and sustainable.”
The car is based around a powerful 1,183bhp quad turbo 8 liter W16 engine. The colour scheme is Arancia orange on a black carbon chassis. The insides of the car are quite beautiful. Matching orange stitching offers a contrast to the black dash and seating. Lightweight Carbon is used throughout.
Kitguru says: Each car will cost €1.99 million, but all eight are already taken, so you can put that credit card away now.
