Gigabyte teases “big” announcement on the 30th of April

Little to nothing is known about the announcement that GIGABYTE is planning to make on April 30 at 6pm BST. The only thing that is known – except the time – is that AORUS Direct will announce updates to AORUS products on its YouTube channel.

Over on the AORUS‘ website, there is a big clock ticking down to the exact time of the announcement accompanied by the words “soar to new heights.” Aside from the slogan, there are eight images displayed which are probably meant to be mysterious, but as AnandTech puts it: “Gigabyte is likely going to reveal some new top-notch motherboards”.

Tom's Hardware also joins in on the speculation and agrees that Gigabyte probably is going to reveal a new lineup of motherboards, saying “based on what they’ve accomplished so far, whatever Gigabyte has to offer with a new line of motherboards should be pretty interesting to see.”
