Computex 2018 opening press conference

Mr. Walter Yeh, the boss of TAITRA which organises Computex, welcomed the world's Press to Taiwan for the biggest PC show on earth. The big themes for Computex this year are Internet of Things, 5G, Blockchain and pretty much anything with the word ‘Smart' in the name.

Google and Microsoft have a presence at Computex, along with Nvidia and other tech giants. Last year we saw a Tesla on the show floor at Nangang and for 2018 we are told that Amazon will be part of the show.

As you would expect, KitGuru is focussed on PC gaming and tech that is of interest to the PC builder. During the products awards at the Press conference we noticed a number of items that all deserve space on these pages, including:

  • Acer Swift 7
  • ASRock X299E-ITX/ac motherboard
  • Asus ProArt PQU monitor
  • Asus ROG Strix GL12
  • Cryorig Frostbit SSD cooler
  • Lian Li Strimer
  • Thermaltake View 71

It's going to be a busy week so you can look forward to plenty of product coverage from the show floors.
