CEO's are a rich bunch of people, often earning more in a week than many of us will see in a lifetime. They are however key figures in many of our favourite companies and drive new developments and sales across the globe. Their leadership is key to the success of a brand and some of them like Steve Ballmer and Steve Jobs are well known personalities who draw huge crowds when they speak at events.
Marketwatch are asking the public to vote for their CEO of the year, taking into consideration those who have performed the best for their shareholders, customers and employees in 2010.
The CEO who gets the most votes will receive the MarketWatch CEO of the Year Award for 2010.
Right now, Steve Jobs is the man at the top and the winner will be announced on December 8th
Everyone can take part and you can vote over here.
KitGuru says: Apple or Ford? seems they are closely matched right now.
Poor Jeff at Amazon. guy is getting mauled by everyone !
Even if im an apple hater, u gotta hand it to good ol’ steve. Gj.
Why is the oracle CEO not included in this? he is doing great for his company. what a terrible list, apart from a few.
Actually both Alan Mulally & Steve Jobs are tied at 40% but you have Steve in the lead here at 43%. I think you should actually post the correct numbers & not mislead people that Steve is winning.
It’s a poll, it changes? Lol. It’s not closed yet. Even the info you posted has changed !
Your right now Steve is at 39% & Alan is at 41%. I do find that the list they have to be somewhat weird since most have not even heard of most of the CEO’s on that list.
