Just as promised, Nvidia went live with its CES keynote this afternoon and as expected, the RTX 4070 Ti was officially announced. As many predicted, this is indeed the same GPU we were due to see on the 12GB RTX 4080 graphics card, which was swiftly 'unlaunched' in November following criticism over the 4080 branding and the power difference between the proposed 12GB version and the 16GB version.

To some, Resident Evil 4 is one of the most important video games in history, with the title influencing the horror genre for years following its 2005 release. Nearly 18 years later, the remake is set to launch in March 2023. With just a few months left, the developers have now claimed RE4 Remake to be in the “final spurt” of development.

We are closing in on the end of 2022 and in keeping with tradition, Valve has revealed the top selling games of the year on Steam. This year's top 100 has some familiar titles, with the likes of Grand Theft Auto V, Rainbow Six Siege, Dota 2 and CS:GO making the list, in addition to a number of new titles, like Dying Light 2, Elden Ring and Monster Hunter Rise.  

We've seen some impressive displays in recent years, pushing refresh rates higher and higher. At this point, there are a few gaming monitors that can reach as high as 480Hz, but next year, we should see the first 500Hz-capable gaming monitors. 

2022 has been a big year for gaming. Equally, the year has served Xbox Game Pass well, with the game subscription service adding hundreds of titles over the course of the past 12 months. With the year coming to an end, let’s take a look back at some of the biggest titles of each month, and ultimately decide whether Xbox Game Pass in 2022 was worth the £131.88 annual asking price.
