We've not seen many Dragon Age leaks in recent years. While BioWare has announced Dreadwolf as the next game in the series, we still don't have a release date and gameplay details are shrouded in mystery. Some of the fog may have lifted over the weekend thanks to a playtest leak. 

With several major games on the horizon, coupled with recent releases like Dead Space Remake, we know a lot of you have some games lined up on your wishlist. If you fancy trying your luck, we're giving away a free PC game of your choice this weekend! 

Over the last couple of years, there have been rumours that Respawn is working on a new single-player game set in the Titanfall/Apex Legends universe. The good news is, it seems the project was indeed real, the bad news is that EA reportedly cancelled this game recently. 

This week, Intel began rolling out a new graphics driver for its Arc GPUs. The driver launched earlier this morning, but it is only now that we can talk about the big improvements this driver brings. Since Arc's launch, Intel's engineers have been hard at work to polish up performance, particularly in DX9 titles. With this new driver, Intel has delivered up to 43 percent better performance in DX9 with smoother frame times too. 

With patch 1.6, Cyberpunk 2077 finally made the step we'd all been waiting for, delivering a vastly more polished and feature-rich experience compared to launch. CD Projekt Red has taken a break from patches since then, but the downtime ends today with a new PC update, bringing Nvidia's Reflex and DLSS 3 features to the game.

EA surprised us all last year with the announcement of Dead Space Remake. Given EA's checkered history, there was some concern that a 'modernised' version of the game would bring about unwanted changes, similar to what happened with Dead Space 3. Fortunately, the reviews are now in and it looks like the team at EA Motive has delivered an impressive and faithful retelling. 

The Day Before has garnered a lot of hype over the past year, going on to become the most wishlisted game on Steam and earning spots in big public keynotes, including Nvidia's recent GeForce Special Event at CES. However, fans are growing increasingly concerned about the game's development progress, as a promised gameplay trailer has been pushed back, along with the release of the game. 

A few years ago, Nintendo took some bold risks with the Fire Emblem franchise, adding new Persona-style social elements to the game and expanding the story to include three paths and a huge cast of likeable supporting characters. Now just a few years later, Fire Emblem is back in the spotlight, this time with Fire Emblem Engage. Unfortunately, this time around, the development team has shied away from the elements that helped Three Houses stand out so much. 

Many of us were excited for Forspoken following its initial PS5 reveal trailer. Since then, a round of divisive previews put the breaks on the hype train. Now with the review embargo lifted, we can take a proper look at what Forspoken does well, and where it falls short. 

Recently, Ubisoft revealed that it has cancelled a number of unannounced games internally and the publisher is bracing for difficult times amid slowing sales and a lacking release schedule.
