Over the past few years, we have seen the Steam platform grow from strength to strength, surpassing its own concurrent user count on a semi-regular basis. Almost exactly one year since it broke its last record, Steam has once again hit a brand new peak.

At the Tokyo Game Show last year, MSI had a surprising announcement. The company is teaming up with Capcom to produce new limited edition PC hardware for the 20th Anniversary of Monster Hunter. Now ahead of CES, the new MSI x Monster Hunter hardware has been officially revealed, including a new limited edition laptop, graphics card, case, AIO cooler, motherboard, monitor and even a game controller.

In recent months, leaks have heavily pointed towards the impending launch of a new range of RTX 40 Super graphics cards. Now with CES just days away, Nvidia appears to be teasing exactly that. 

The winners of the public-voted 2023 Steam Awards have been revealed. This year's Steam Awards recognise a total of eight categories, such as Game of the Year, Labor of Love, Better With Friends, Outstanding Visual Style, and others. While some of the winners were expected, like Baldur's Gate 3 for GOTY, others were a bit more surprising, with Starfield winning most innovative gameplay and Red Dead Redemption 2 getting the Labour of Love award despite a complete lack of updates. 

The latest COD entry has been mocked for its seemingly slapdash campaign, it's uninventive multiplayer suite of remade maps and a Zombies mode which eschews the ‘all-important’ round-based gameplay loop, instead taking the new Warzone map and slapping the barest of coatings of zombified paint on top. With all that said, MW3 has introduced a new gameplay function which may have just changed the first person shooter genre forever – akin to the creation of aiming down sight – the tactical stance...

While Starfield launched to positive reviews, fan sentiments around the game have soured in the months since launch. The game already had a mixed reception in Steam user reviews but in recent weeks, the game has dropped to a mostly negative rating.
