Inno3D might have revealed some of the new features coming with the Nvidia GeForce RTX 50 series. The company launched a pre-CES 2025 press release that teases potentially groundbreaking new features, namely “Advanced DLSS” and “Neural Rendering”.
While Nvidia typically keeps its cards close to its chest when revealing new tech, Inno3D seems to have gotten a sneak peek at what's coming out ahead of Nvidia's reveal. According to HardwareLuxx.de, the graphics card manufacturer has confirmed it will be showcasing a new range of GPUs at CES 2025, including its iChill Frostbite (liquid-cooled), iChill X3, X3, Twin X2, and a new “White and Small Form Factor” series.
As for the new features, Inno3D teases “Advanced DLSS Technology” (possibly DLSS 4), “Enhanced Ray Tracing”, and the most intriguing, “Neural Rendering Capabilities”. This last one could be a new way of processing and displaying graphics, but we'll have to wait until further confirmation. Note that Inno3D doesn't explicitly link these features to the RTX 50 series, but given the timing and being a pre-CES 2025 press release, we assume this is some of the new stuff coming with the next generation of Nvidia graphics cards.
CES 2025 will run from January 7th to the 10th, but the first keynotes (Nvidia, for example) will be held on January 6th.
KitGuru says: Will these new features also be available in older cards, or is it exclusive to the RTX 50 series and beyond?
