The massive Corsair 9000D RGB Airflow full-tower is now available

First announced at Computex 2024, Corsair is finally launching the 9000D RGB Airflow case. Working as a successor to the Corsair Obsidian 1000D, this new full-tower is designed to cater to enthusiasts planning to create ludicrous custom water-cooling setups. Bringing improvements in expansion, cooling, and buildability, as well as a more modern design, the 9000D promises to be a considerable step up over its predecessor.

Measuring in at 696x698x307mm, the 9000D interior offers many cooling options, accommodating up to eighteen 120mm, seven 140mm, and four 200mm fans. In addition, it can house up to two 480mm radiators side by side on the front and top, a 360mm radiator on the side, and a 240mm radiator on the rear, with the flexibility to configure them in a push-pull setup based on radiator thickness and mounting position. This allows for multi-system, multi-GPU builds with unparalleled freedom when it comes to cooling. Moreover, the Corsair InfiniRail mounting system streamlines fan installation, allowing users to adjust the rails to accommodate their desired fan size and position.

On top of the case's overwhelming cooling potential, it offers ample space for all system components. The central motherboard tray supports mATX to E-ATX boards and even server-sized SSI-CEB and SSI-EEB dual processor boards. A second horizontal Mini ITX motherboard tray can also house a full-sized dual-slot GPU or another PCI-e device.

For storage, the 9000D can accommodate up to six 2.5-inch SSDs and five 3.5-inch HDDs in a detachable hard drive cage. As you would expect, there is also plenty of room for components, including dual PSUs, and graphics cards up to 400mm long.

The RGB front I/O is managed by an integrated iCUE Link Hub, which can control up to 23 devices. To facilitate access to the inside of the case, the 9000D is equipped with dual tool-free swing-out doors, QuikTurn fan screws to simplify fan installation, over 60mm of clearance behind the motherboard tray, and a range of accessories, such as cable management ties and a reusable screw box.
