AMD RX 7650 GRE will reportedly be based on Navi 33

AMD has already introduced two desktop Radeon RX 7600 cards featuring the Navi 33 GPU, the least powerful GPU in the RDNA 3 lineup. These cards have 32 RDNA3 CUs (2048 Stream Processors), 18Gbps GDDR6 memory, and a 128-bit memory bus. However, they differ in other key specs, including memory, TDP and clock speeds. With the new AMD RX 7650 GRE, it looks like we're getting a third 32-CU graphics card.

According to Benchlife (via VideoCardz), the rumoured Radeon RX 7650 GRE will use the Navi 33 GPU instead of the Navi 32. This could limit the new variant to 32 CUs or a memory bus no larger than 128 bits. The specific model (XT or XL) and RAM configuration for the RX 7650 GRE remain unknown. Although the name “RX 7650 GRE” may not be the most compelling, it is expected to outperform the RX 7600 XT, possibly due to higher GPU and memory clock speeds.

Both the Radeon RX 7600 XT and non-XT models come in a 32-CU configuration, with the former featuring a 190W TBP compared to the non-XT's 165W. The upcoming Radeon RX 7650 GRE's TBP should be somewhere around these values.

Sources indicate that the RX 7650 GRE is slated for release next year, but no confirmation exists on a CES 2025 debut. Considering this is a GRE (Golden Rabbit Edition), which AMD typically reserves for China-exclusive models, an international debut may not happen immediately after release (if ever), and as such, announcing at CES wouldn't make much sense.
