In just three months, Las Vegas will host one of the industry's biggest events, CES 2025. Here, Nvidia's CEO Jensen Huang is expected to unveil the company's new hardware and software lineup for 2025. While artificial intelligence is anticipated to take centre stage, gaming may get some attention with the next generation of consumer GPUs.
Nvidia's official participation in CES 2025 has been confirmed, with the tech giant securing a dedicated booth at the expo, which will be running from January 7th to 10th. Huang's keynote address is slated for January 6th at 6:30 p.m., a day before the official commencement of CES 2025, positioning it as the de facto opening keynote of the event.
Although Nvidia has yet to share the specifics of its CES showcase, the news of Huang's keynote comes directly from the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), the organisation responsible for CES. Rumours are swirling that the highly anticipated Nvidia GeForce RTX 50 series might be officially unveiled there, with the possibility of the RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 cards being formally announced.
It's worth noting that Nvidia traditionally holds separate events for its GeForce launches, making CES 2025 an unconventional venue for such announcements. Historically, the company has used CES to unveil its mobile GPUs. However, with no date to announce the upcoming RTX desktop GPUs and considering some previous rumours surrounding the RTX 50 series, CES 2025 is slowly becoming the most likely stage to show the new graphics cards.
