Philips Evnia targets QHD gamers with new 180Hz monitors

Philips recently announced the launch of its latest Evnia 5000 gaming monitors: the Philips Evnia 27M2C5501 and the 32M2C5501. Both have curved VA panels and 180Hz refresh rate, with prices starting at just £220

Both displays have a 0.5ms MPRT with Smart MBR, promising fast and smooth gaming. Additionally, HDR10 and AI-enhanced Ambiglow lighting further enhance the visual experience. Other features of these monitors include low input lag, HDR 10 support, 300 nits of brightness, 8-bit colour depth, factory calibration, and Adaptive Sync. Despite many similarities, these monitors are not the same, with the 27-inch 27M2C5501 having a 5000:1 contrast ratio and the 32-inch 32M2C5501 having a 3500:1 contrast ratio.

The 27M2C5501 and 32M2C5501 are equipped with a range of other features too, including Low Blue Mode, Flicker-Free technology, anti-glare coating, and a height-adjustable stand with tilt and swivel. On the back of the monitors, you'll find 2x HDMI 2.0 ports, a DisplayPort 1.4, and a VESA 100×100 mounting mechanism.

The Evnia 27M2C5501 is already available for purchase for £219.99, while the 32M2C5501 is priced at £259.99.
