Monster Hunter Wilds releases in February 2025 for PC and consoles

Capcom has been slowly teasing us with updates on Monster Hunter Wilds, its next-gen Monster Hunter title, targeting high-end consoles and PCs, much like Monster Hunter World. We've had a number of trailers and weapon reveals so far. Now, we finally have a release date, with the game scheduled to drop in just a few months time.

Monster Hunter Wilds will be launching on the 28th of February 2025 for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. The game will feature cross-play too, so players across all platforms can aid in hunts.

The release date is in line with previous Monster Hunter titles. Monster Hunter World was also a February release, and the more recent Monster Hunter Rise was a March release. So far, dropping a major title like Monster Hunter in Q1 has worked well for Capcom and the publisher will no doubt have another game or two lined up for the second half of the year.

Monster Hunter Wilds is also set to have PS5 Pro support at launch, so features like PSSR will be present, allowing for higher resolutions and performance.

KitGuru Says: It is nice to see the PC version dropping at the same time as consoles this time around. Will you be picking up Monster Hunter Wilds when it drops in February?
