JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Steel Ball Run reportedly getting a video game adaptation

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure is a highly popular manga series, with parts 1 through 6 all receiving anime adaptations. That said, despite no official word on Part 7 – Steel Ball Run – getting an animated adaptation, the no.2 highest rated manga of all time is rumoured to be getting its own video game.

As reported by known anime leaker AniTsumi via Twitter, “It seems like they're planning a huge release for Jojo's Part 7” with the much loved entry said to be getting “an Official Announcement & Trailer for the Anime in 2025/2026!”

Perhaps even more exciting however is the fact that “There's a videogame in development right now too.”

While there have been plenty of JoJo video games over the decades, very few of them directly relate to a specific Part of the manga/anime – instead typically being an amalgamation of all the different parts, telling a unique story.

Given the love surrounding Steel Ball Run, it makes sense that JoJo publisher ‘Shueisha’ would want a dedicated game focused on Part 7 in particular. Hopefully an official announcement comes sooner than that of the Anime.
