Like a Dragon team announces new RGG Studio Summit

RGG Studio (Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio) is known best for their work on the Like a Dragon (Yakuza) franchise. With the last mainline Like a Dragon game having launched earlier this year, the studio has now announced that they will be hosting a Summit next month to show off their upcoming titles.

Making the announcement on Twitter, the official RGG Studio page shared the following: “RGG Summit 2024 has been announced! We welcome re-streamers to be part of the excitement too!”

The stream will go live across both Twitch and YouTube on the 20th of September at 12PM CEST (11AM UK Time) with no word on how long the event will be.

That said, considering Japanese residents will be given the opportunity to win tickets to see the Summit live, hopefully the event will be a rather meaty one.

As mentioned, RGG Studio released Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth earlier this year and so their current line-up of future titles is unknown at this time. That said, given the rate at which the team is able to pump out game after game, hopefully a solid line-up of titles will be officially announced.

KitGuru says: Are you looking forward to the summit? Will we get our first look at Like a Dragon 9? What direction do you think the franchise will take next? Let us know down below.
