June’s PlayStation Plus Extra/Premium titles now include PSVR2 games

Each month, Sony updates its PS Plus Extra/Premium libraries with a plethora of games. Beginning this month, the Premium tier has gotten a notable boost, with PS2 and PSVR2 titles now included in the package.

Making the announcement on the PlayStation Blog, Adam Michel – the Director for Content Acquisition & Operations at Sony Interactive Entertainment revealed that “new classic and PS VR2 game offerings” are now being included for PS Plus’ Premium subscribers – giving the oft-overlooked tier a renewed lease on life. With that, the full list of titles coming to PS Plus Extra and Premium is as follows:

PS Plus Extra

  • Monster Hunter Rise | PS4, PS5
  • Football Manager 2024 | PS5
  • Crusader Kings III | PS5
  • Monster Energy Supercross – The Official Videogame 6 | PS4, PS5
  • After Us | PS5
  • Anno 1800 | PS5
  • Police Simulator: Patrol Officers | PS4, PS5
  • Far Cry 4 | PS4
  • LEGO The Hobbit | PS4
  • LEGO The Incredibles | PS4

PS Plus Premium

  • Kayak VR: Mirage | PS VR2
  • LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy | PS4, PS5
  • Ghosthunter | PS4, PS5
  • Daxter | PS4, PS5

While the Premium tier continues to offer fewer titles compared to the likes of PS Plus Extra, the addition of PSVR2 and PS2 titles is notable – and is hopefully the start of a renewed focus on the much-criticised tier. The full line-up of games will be available from the 18th of June.
