Razer is back with a new esports-focused mouse. The new Razer Viper V3 Pro has been designed in collaboration with esports players, including Zekken, the winner and MVP of the Valorant Champions Tour Masters in Madrid.
As this is a mouse aimed at competitive gaming, it is ultra-light. A comprehensive redesign has allowed Razer to cut the weight down to just 54g, making it one of the lightest options available. This is achieved without sacrificing features, so it still includes a high-res Razer Focus Pro Gen 2 sensor, as well as the option of using it wirelessly with Razer HyperPolling, keeping response times low. This mouse also supports 8000Hz polling rate, which is also amongst the best in today's market.
The Viper V3 Pro underwent a comprehensive redesign based on extensive feedback from pro players. Since October 2023, its prototype has been tested by over 45 players across 5 major tournaments. As a result of the feedback, the mouse now includes larger mouse feet, a smooth touch finish, and a strategically placed DPI button on the underside, along with gap-separated side buttons to prevent misclicks.
In keeping with Razer’s commitment to sustainability, the Viper V3 Pro is also the first core PC peripheral within its portfolio to incorporate post-consumer recycled plastic (PCR), with its top shell made of 85% PCR. Razer is also eliminating plastics from packaging and reducing package sizes with minimalistic designs.
The Razer Viper V3 Pro is available starting this week, priced at £159.99 in the UK.
