Razer launches BlackShark V2 Pro and V2 X for PlayStation and Xbox consoles

Razer recently announced the expansion of its BlackShark V2 Pro line to include two new variants designed for PlayStation and Xbox systems. Based on the BlackShark V2 Pro for PC, these new models are designed to offer good audio quality, clear voice communication, long battery life, and comfort for prolonged gaming sessions.

The console versions of the BlackShark V2 Pro have been tested by professional gamers and esports athletes. Key features include the Razer HyperClear Super Wideband mic, which ensures clear and precise in-game communication. The BlackShark V2 Pro headsets are equipped with Razer HyperSpeed wireless technology, providing a low-latency connection ideal for gaming. They are also designed to be comfortable, with a lightweight frame and padded ear cups that limit noise disturbances.

The BlackShark V2 Pro for PlayStation and Xbox boasts the same audio performance as its PC counterpart. It uses the same TriForce Titanium 50mm drivers to deliver nuanced sound and accurate in-game signals. These headsets come with pre-set audio profiles for games such as Apex Legends, Call of Duty, and Fortnite.

Razer has also introduced the BlackShark V2 X for console gamers, which features improved audio drivers, a cardioid microphone, and noise cancellation, all housed in a comfortable, lightweight form. The BlackShark V2 Pro for PlayStation and Xbox are now available in black and white, while the BlackShark V2 X models are only available in black. The Pro versions are priced at £199.99/$199.99/€219.99 and the V2 X at £59.99/$49.99/€59.99.
