The Last of Us Part II Remastered reportedly heading to PC soon

Back in late January, Sony and Naughty Dog released The Last of Us Part II Remastered – a native PS5 version of last-gen’s swan song featuring enhanced visuals, improved performance and new side modes. With Ghost of Tsushima finally coming to PCs in May, TLOU Part II appears to be next in line.

As claimed by the relatively-new-though-historically-accurate industry insider ‘Silknigth’ “Sony's upcoming PC game is The Last Of Us Part 2 Remastered. Its announcement is expected next month, although the exact date is unknown. There will be a longer-than-usual period between the announcement date and the release day.”

Over time, we have seen many of Sony’s PS5 games ported to PC in an increasingly quicker cadence. Of course, The Last of Us Part II originally released in 2020, but with the Remaster being just a month and a half old, it seems as though PC players might be getting their hands on the game sooner than expected.

That said, with Ghost of Tsushima just recently being announced for PC, the company is likely waiting for its next window of opportunity to make a splash with this upcoming announcement.

Regardless, it is exciting to see that the game is seemingly not being held back for the premiere of HBO’s The Last of Us’ second season.
