Square Enix announces FFVII Rebirth orchestral world tour

The Final Fantasy series is known and loved for many things. Perhaps its most universally-praised element however is its music. With Final Fantasy VII Rebirth recently releasing to a great deal of critical success, Square Enix has now announced an orchestral world tour.

Beginning in August later this year and running all the way into 2025, the FFVII Rebirth Orchestra World Tour will see attendees:

“Experience all new symphonic arrangements of the music of FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH including beloved scores by Nobuo Uematsu and exciting new contributions from Mitsuto Suzuki, Masashi Hamauzu, and many other esteemed composers and arrangers, performed by an orchestra and chorus of over 100 musicians led by renowned conductors Arnie Roth and Eric Roth.”

Square Enix is no stranger to putting on concerts, with many of their most popular franchises – including Final Fantasy – having had multiple orchestral tours in the past.

Music is one of the most underappreciated aspects of gaming, and so it is exciting and encouraging to see Square Enix going all in on it. The full list of tour dates and locations can be found HERE.
