The Day Before gets global unlock times for December launch

The Day Before has been at the centre of plenty of discussion this year. The game was once the most wish-listed game on Steam but after some delays and trademark issues, many began to question exactly how real this game was. Now, it looks like the studio is looking to put that to rest, announcing exact unlock times for the game ahead of launch next month.

If all goes to plan, The Day Before will finally become available on the 7th of December on Steam. The survival MMO will have a global launch time, meaning it will unlock at the same time worldwide and not at midnight on release day in your region's local time. This also means you won't be able to unlock the game early by using a VPN to trick the system.

In the UK, we're looking at a 6PM GMT unlock time for the game, which translates to 7PM in western Europe, 1PM Eastern and 10AM Western in the US, 3PM in South America, 3AM on December 8th in Tokyo and 5AM/7AM on December 8th in Australia and New Zealand,

The game will be in Early Access at launch and promises a large open world for players to team up in, while collecting loot, fortifying buildings and fending off the threat of zombies.
