ViewSonic launches three new Omni gaming monitors with SuperClear IPS panels

ViewSonic is expanding its Omni monitor lineup with three new models – the VX3219-2K-PRO-2, VX2758A-2K-PRO-2, and VX2779-HD-PRO. The three monitors are pretty different from each other, offering a spec to suit a range of budgets. 

ViewSonic's new VX3219-2K-PRO-2 features a 31.5-inch SuperClear IPS QHD display with a static contrast ratio of 1200:1, and colour space coverage of 95% DCI-P3. The display supports a refresh rate of 165Hz and an MPRT of 0.5ms. It is compatible with ViewMode, EyeProTech for eye protection, AMD FreeSync Premium, and HDR10. Unfortunately, the stand is limited to tilt adjustment. The monitor has two HDMI 2.0 ports, a DisplayPort 1.2 input, and a headphone connector for connectivity.

Then, there's the ViewSonic VX2758-2K-Pro-2 with a 27-inch QHD SuperClear IPS display that covers 137% of sRGB, 97% of NTSC, and 95% of DCI-p3 colour spaces and has a 1ms MPRT. The display has 8-bit+FRC colour bit depth, HDR10 support, a typical brightness of 300 nits, and a static contrast ratio of 1000:1. The device's DisplayPort 1.2 input supports a refresh rate of 170Hz, while the two HDMI 2.0 inputs support a frame rate of up to 144Hz. Additionally, the monitor has a headphone jack and an ergonomic stand that can be adjusted up to 150mm in height. The stand supports a bi-directional pivot, a +/-45-degree swivel, and a -5 to 20-degree tilt. The display also has EyeProTech and AMD FreeSync.

Lastly, the VX2779-HD-Pro features a 27-inch SuperClear IPS display with FHD resolution and 6-bit+FRC colour bit depth. Moreover, it can cover 72% NTSC and 104% sRGB colour spaces. The device has a static contrast ratio of 1000:1, supports HDR10, and produces an average brightness of 250 nits. The monitor has a refresh rate of 180Hz and 1ms MPRT. It has two HDMI 1.4 connections, a DisplayPort 1.2 input, and a headphone connector. The stand only supports tilt adjustment. The display features EyeProTech for eye safety and AMD FreeSync to prevent tearing.
