NZXT H6 Flow RGB Review – Well that’s Different

Rating: 9.0.

NZXT has come up with a new idea in the H6 Flow RGB. They have taken a PC case with glass on two sides and mesh on the other panels and then lopped off one of the corners to help air flow and show off the RGB lighting. That's a quirky take on things but we are happy to report the designers have also worked on the design and layout, and the end result is both interesting and effective.

Cooling Performance

Cooling Performance Overview

We took the NZXT H6 Flow RGB to the limit with a combined work load of Speedway Stress Test and Cinebench R23 that drew a total of 790W-800W at the wall socket. The case had no trouble providing air flow to keep the Gigabyte RTX 4080 under control and it also managed nicely with the Intel Core i9-14900K. In addition to attractive styling, we can also confidently state the NZXT H6 Flow RGB works very effectively, although it can get noisy when you crank up the fan speed.

Closing Thoughts

Our first impression of the NZXT H6 Flow RGB was ‘OK, well that's interesting,' but as we dug deeper we became more impressed by the design of this case and merely considered the angled front corner to be the final styling flourish.

NZXT has managed to deliver a case that obviously has a large area of tempered glass, however it also packs in a lot of mesh for air flow, and that is an intriguing combination.

What most impresses us about the NZXT H6 Flow RGB is the fact that all the panels are tool-free with the exception of the small front glass panel which can remain in place throughout the build process.

Furthermore, the dual chamber design means you can choose to secure the various cables in a neat and punctilious manner or, should you choose, just check 'em in and close up the right hand panel. Either approach works and the end result will be a PC that looks superb and also works well.

Pros:

  • The panels are tool-free and easy to remove and replace.
  • Loads of mesh for impressive airflow.
  • Three RGB fans are included.
  • Good value for money.

Cons:

  • No rear fan is included.
  • The power supply blocks access to rear of motherboard.

KitGuru says: The NZXT H6 Flow RGB is more than just a pretty face as it also works impressively well.
