Thermaltake launches its first pair of gaming monitors

We all know Thermaltake well for their cases, coolers, memory and peripherals but now, the company is expanding into the gaming monitor market. This week, TT launched two new gaming monitors, one curved and one with a flat panel to suit both preferences, with high refresh rates and 1440p resolution.

The first monitor in Thermaltake's line-up is the TGM-I27FQ, a 27-inch flat monitor with a 165Hz rapid refresh rate and 1ms response time (GtG), making it ideal for both single and multiplayer gaming. The colour range tops out at 95 percent of the DCI-P3 gamut and thanks to the IPS panel, you'll have wide viewing angles too without the colour shifting.

The next monitor is the TGM-V32CQ, a 32-inch curved monitor with a 170Hz rapid refresh rate and a 1ms response time (MPRT), and covers 90 percent of the DCI-P3 colour gamut.

The TGM-I27FQ and the TGM-V32CQ both are compatible with G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync Premium, so your graphics card can control the refresh rate of your monitor and as a result, screen tearing is completely eliminated. Other features include Ultra Shadow Boost and an ergonomic stand with swivel, pivot, tilt and height adjustments.

We don't have pricing for these monitors just yet but both should become available soon.

KitGuru Says: We've had a few newcomers to the monitor market recently, with Thermaltake being the latest. Both monitors sound decent on paper, but we'll have to see them first-hand to get a grasp on how good they really are.
