Like a Dragon to be shown off at RGG Summit next week

RGG Studio (Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio) is known best for their work on the Like a Dragon (Yakuza) franchise. With multiple Like a Dragon games currently in development, the studio has announced that they will be hosting a Summit next week to show off their upcoming titles.

Back in June following their Summer online presentation, RGG Studio announced that they would be hosting a studio ‘Summit’ sometime during Fall of 2023 where we would get another look at Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name and Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth.

Now, publisher SEGA has officially offered a date for their upcoming livestream, revealing that the Fall Summit will take place next week on the 20th of September at 12PM JST (4AM UK Time). As mentioned, this Summit will focus on their two previously-announced titles Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name and Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth.

Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth is the latest entry in the revamped Like a Dragon series, features turn-based combat and follows Ichiban Kasuga as he washes up along the shores of Hawaii.

Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name meanwhile is a prequel set after the events of Yakuza 6 and will see the return of familiar face Kazuma Kiryu alongside the series’ real-time action/brawling combat.

The Man Who Erased His Name is planned to launch on 9th of November While infinite Wealth currently has no set release date (aside from a vague 2024 descriptor). It will be interesting to see more from both these titles – and anything else RGG Studio has planned for the event.
