Lian Li releases Galahad II Trinity AIO CPU coolers

Lian Li is updating its AIO lineup with the Galahad II Trinity series. Available in three variants, the Galahad II Trinity is available in 240mm and 360mm sizes, while the Galahad II Trinity SL-INF is available in 240mm and 360mm sizes with pre-installed Uni Fan SL Infinity fans. The Galahad II Trinity Performance is only available with a thick 360mm radiator with LCP fans and a 4,200 RPM pump.

Available in black and white, the Galahad II Trinity AIOs feature a redesigned pump that promises to deliver better cooling performance. To reduce debris collection, the copper cold plate has extra skived fin spacing thanks to the increased fin's height and thickness. In addition, a trench has been installed along the centre of the skived fins to improve coolant diffusion over the surface area of the copper plate. The copper-plate seal has also been improved with straighter paths, reducing turbulence and increasing water flow. The pump impeller has been expanded from 31.4mm to 36mm in diameter for the Performance model, which also has a bigger motor that can deliver speeds of up to 4200 RPM (3200 RPM for the other Galahad II Trinity AIOs). As opposed to the five fans used on the Galahad I, the new impeller uses a seven-blade design.

The pump cap may be readily customised using the three interchangeable pump covers included, resulting in a variety of lighting effects that can be adjusted via L-Connect 3. First, there's the Duo Infinity cap, which has an aluminium shell with two infinity RGB rings at the top and a thin RGB ring at the base. Then, the Sink Hole cap has a diffused outside frame and a centre infinite RGB ring. Lastly, the Dazzle cap is an all-diffused cap with two independent LED zones.

 

The Galahad II Trinity comes in black and white and packs ARGB PWM fans that can be daisy-chained using a single short wire that can be concealed within the fan's frame. The 120mm fans are 25mm thick and have fluid dynamic bearings for silent and reliable operation. As for the radiator, it's 27mm thick and comes in two sizes: 240mm and 360mm. The pump and fans can be controlled through the motherboard via PWM and ARGB connections, or connected directly to the AIO pump block and synchronised using L-Connect 3.

The Galahad II Trinity SL-INF is available in black and white and has the same pump block and radiator as the Galahad II Trinity. Moreover, it comes with UNI FAN SL120 INFINITY fans pre-installed, offering improved RGB capabilities than the fans bundled with the standard model.

The Galahad II Trinity Performance is only available with a 360mm radiator that's 130mm wide and 32mm thick. In addition, the rad uses a twin-wave fin design to increase surface area. The pre-installed 120mm  LCP (Liquid Crystal Polymer) fans are 28mm thick and can be daisy-chained with a single wire. There are two fan modes to choose from: High for performance-oriented operation and Low for noise-optimised results. However, both can then be manually adjusted using the provided RPM switch controller. The fans may be connected directly to the motherboard or to the AIO pump block (L-Connect 3 controlled). Additionally, they can be upgraded with the Uni Fan P28 side ARGB kit to give them some extra flair.

All models are equipped with 45-degree rotating fittings to facilitate tube routing and installation. The fittings may be turned 360 degrees to change the direction of the tube. Moreover, the CPU coolers come with a thermal paste control film and spreader to assure optimal application and even covering of the CPU.
