Atlas Fallen goes gold ahead of August launch

Publisher Focus Entertainment and developer Deck13 Interactive announced the completion of development on their upcoming action role-playing title. Originally scheduled for a mid-May release, Atlas Fallen was delayed to allow for a few extra months of development time. This has allowed the team to implement gameplay and optimisation improvements and add a German voice language option to the game.

While Deck13 Interactive is known for its “Soulslike” games such as Lords of the Fallen (2014), The Surge, and The Surge 2, Atlas Fallen follows a more fast-paced action approach. If we had to compare it with other modern games, it would be something more akin to Devil May Cry V and Final Fantasy XVI than to its previous works.

Accompanying the announcement, the developer also released a new trailer highlighting the weapons available in the game. Players can choose between the Dunecleaver, Sandwhip, and Knuckledust to take down enemies.

Atlas Fallen releases on August 10th for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Pre-orders are now open on all platforms. Digital pre-orders will also get a DLC pack containing cosmetics.
