Intel “Meteor Lake” Core Ultra 7 1002H spotted

Intel's upcoming Meteor Lake mobile chip lineup continues to unveil itself with the recent discovery of the Core Ultra 7 1002H. This finding follows the discovery of the Core Ultra 7 1003H SKU, which sparked discussions about a possible Intel Core CPU rebrand. Intel has since confirmed that a name change is indeed in the works for the upcoming mobile series.

As reported by InstLatX64, the newly discovered SKU was found on the boot log of an Intel test machine. As per the log, this CPU has a configuration similar to the Core Ultra 71003H SKU. The processor features 6 Performance cores, 8 Efficient cores, and 2 cores integrated into the SoC die. This brings the total configuration to 16 cores and 22 threads.

The boot log also reveals that the base clock remains the same at 3.0GHz, which is approximately 100MHz lower than the engineering sample showcased at Computex last week. Additionally, the TDP is listed at 28W, suggesting the CPU that we see in the logs belongs to the P-series.

Intel says its new Meteor Lake processors will be arriving in the second half of 2023. Anticipated updates on the 14th Gen mobile and desktop CPUs can be expected at Intel's Innovation event scheduled for September 19-20.
