EA confirms Dragon Age: Dreadwolf not coming this year

While many of us have been anticipating a late 2023 launch for the next Dragon Age game it seems BioWare's next RPG won't be arriving quite that soon. In a recent presentation, EA suggests that Dragon Age: Dreadwolf won't be coming out until 2024.

As spotted by Eurogamer, EA recently shared a presentation as part of its fiscal year earnings review. One of the slides on that presentation shows the slate of games coming before the end of the current fiscal year, which ends in March 2024. The slide does not show Dragon Age: Dreadwolf as a scheduled game for the current year.

The slide does note that two unannounced games are scheduled to release in the current year, with one being a racing game and the other being an EA Sports title. Dragon Age does not fit that description either.

EA has not made any official announcements regarding Dragon Age: Dreadwolf's release date but if we read between the lines here, it seems that the game is not planned until next Spring at the earliest.

KitGuru Says: If Dragon Age: Dreadwolf isn't planned for 2023, or early 2024, then we might not get the gameplay reveal we were hoping for this year.
