NZXT revamps AIO lineup with new Kraken and Kraken Elite coolers

NZXT is revamping its AIO liquid cooling line-up this month with two new coolers, the Kraken and the Kraken Elite. These new coolers take over the mantle from the previous-generation Kraken X and Z AIO coolers.

The new Kraken AIOs will be available with 240mm, 280mm and 360mm radiators. The Kraken Elite sets itself apart with the inclusion of a 2.36″ LCD screen on the pump, with improved resolution, frame rate, viewing angles and colour accuracy compared to the previous generation. The Kraken Elite's screen can be customised using NZXT CAM, so you can display static images or small animations. The standard Kraken has a smaller 1.54″ display, which can display static images or system temperatures.

Both coolers use new High Static Pressure F-series fans, or the new F Core RGB fans, depending on the model. The installation process has also been improved for the newest generation, simplifying the process through a single breakout cable and reinforced tubing. Both coolers also use a 7th Gen Asetek pump under the hood.

The new Kraken AIOs start at £129.99 for the 240mm non-RGB version, jumping up to £149.99 for the 280mm version and £169.99 for the 360mm version. If you want RGB, you'll have to pay an extra £30. The Kraken Elite series starts at £219.99 for the 240mm version, going up to £229.99 for the 280mm version and £254.99 for the 360mm version. For the Elite coolers, adding RGB only costs an extra £20.

Aside from all of this, NZXT has also refreshed its Flow series of cases, with new RGB versions of the H5 and H7 Flow cases. The H7 Elite Chassis has also been upgraded with the new F Series Core RGB fans, which now come pre-installed in the case.
