Next-gen Intel GPUs will reportedly be manufactured by TSMC

It looks like TSMC will soon become the source of all major gaming GPUs. AMD and Nvidia already utilise TSMC's fabs and according to a recent report, Intel will soon do the same. 

According to Taiwan's Commercial Times (via Tom's Hardware), the Battlemage GPUs from Intel will be manufactured by TSMC in 2024. Previous reports suggest that the Xe2-based GPUs will be manufactured on the 4nm process node, like the RTX 40 series GPUs.

However, according to the report, those aren't the only Intel GPUs set to be manufactured at TSMC. Like Battlemage, the third-generation Celestial GPUs will apparently also be produced by TSMC. These are slated to launch in the second half of 2026 and are supposedly based on the Xe3 architecture. As per this report, the GPUs will use TSMC's N3X (3 nm) production node.

With the upcoming series, Intel is expected to be able to deliver higher-end products capable of rivalling higher-end graphics cards from Nvidia and AMD.
