Kingdom Hearts soundtracks finally added to music streaming services

For more than two decades the Kingdom Hearts series has gifted fans with countless beloved songs. Unfortunately, as with many video game OSTs those paying for premium music streaming services were unable to listen to any of it – having to resort to fan covers of the iconic soundtrack. Finally however, the OSTs for both Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 and 2.5 ReMIX have been added to Spotify and Apple Music.

As discovered by ‘AniPlaylist’ (a Twitter account dedicated to tracking new video game OST releases on streaming platforms), the ‘KINGDOM HEARTS -HD 1.5 & 2.5 ReMIX- [Original Soundtracks]’ are now available worldwide on both Spotify and Apple Music.

Due to the sheer abundance of fan covers, finding the original albums on these streaming services can sometimes be tricky. To make it easier, the albums can be found below:

Between the two albums – and all the games they encompass – just under two hundred songs have been added meaning no matter your mood, composer Yoko Shimomura and co have you covered.

While the Kingdom Hearts franchise itself may not appeal to you, the soundtracks can certainly be appreciated by all – and so whether a Kingdom Hearts fan or not these newly-added OSTs are worth a listen or two.

KitGuru says: What do you think of the Kingdom Hearts franchise? What about the soundtracks? What other video game OST are you waiting to come to music streaming services? Let us know down below.
