G.Skill launches DDR5-7800 memory, DDR5-8000 is on the way too

G.Skill continues pushing the boundaries of DDR5 memory. Following the launch of Intel's new 13th Gen Core CPUs, G.Skill has unveiled its new DDR5-7800 Trident Z5 memory, the fastest yet. Additionally, 7600 and 7400 versions will also be available.

G.Skill Trident Z5 DDR5 memory now offers up to 7800MHz speeds at CL38 in 32GB kits. This new memory was validated using an Intel Core i9-13900K – which we were fortunate enough to review, so if you are interested in learning more about Intel's latest flagship desktop CPU, then you can find all our benchmarks, HERE. The motherboard used for G.Skill's validation tests was the Asus ROG Maximus Z790 Apex.

The DDR5-7400 kit comes with 64GB of memory, giving you the best of both worlds with speed and capacity. This memory was also validated using a Core i9-13900K, as well as an Asus ROG Maximus Z790 Apex motherboard. The DDR5-7600 32GB kit offers CL36 timings and was validated using a Core i9-13900K and an Asus ROG Maximus Z790 Hero motherboard.

Finally, G.Skill is also using today's launches to give us a sneak peek at what's to come in the future. G.Skill is already working on DDR5-8000 CL38 kits, which are currently in testing, so expect DDR5 memory speeds to be pushed even further in the not-too-distant future.
