Silverstone launches first ATX 3.0 Platinum Power Supply

Recently, Nvidia announced the RTX 4090 and RTX 4080 graphics cards, complete with a new power connector designed for new ATX 3.0 PSUs. These power supplies are still quite rare, but SilverStone appears to have one of the very first available.

Earlier this month, SilverStone unveiled the HELA 850R power supply, with Platinum-rated efficiency and ATX 3.0 compliancy. These units come with the new 12VHPWR cable you will need for Nvidia's latest GPUs.

The HELA 850R Platinum is an ATX form factor fully modular unit with Cybenetics Platinum efficiency certification. The PSU is built with all Japanese electrolytic capacitors, transistors, transformers etc, allowing for solid power output for years to come.

This particular power supply is currently listed on Amazon US, with more units to come in Q4. We do not yet have confirmation on UK or European availability and pricing but we will update this post once that information comes through.
