Dell introduces two new 32-inch Fast IPS gaming monitors

Dell has launched two new 32-inch gaming monitors with high refresh rates. The cheapest of the two is the G3223D, featuring 1440p resolution. The G3223Q is the higher-end option, boasting 4K resolution.

Starting with the G3223D, this Dell monitor packs a 32-inch Fast IPS panel with 1440p resolution, 165Hz refresh rate, and 1ms G2G response time. Awarded by VESA with the DisplayHDR 400 certification, this monitor uses a 10-bit panel with 400nits of brightness and a 1000:1 contrast ratio covering 95% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut.

The Dell G3223D is compatible with AMD FreeSync and Nvidia G-Sync to provide a tear-free gaming experience. Moreover, console players can connect their systems to the monitor and take advantage of the console mode to play at 1440p and up to 120Hz with VRR. Available connectivity options include 2x HDMI 2.0, a DisplayPort 1.4, a USB-C upstream, a USB-A 3.0, a USB-A 3.2 Gen1, and an audio-out jack.

Moving on to the G3223Q, it uses a 32-inch Fast IPS panel with a 4K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and 1ms G2G response time. Other technical specifications include a 1000:1 contrast ratio, 600nits of brightness, a 10-bit colour depth, and 95%/99% DCI-P3/sRGB spectrum coverage. Additionally, it received VESA DisplayHDR 600 certification.

Unlike the G3223D, it only supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, but it features a console mode for 120Hz gaming. It also comes pre-calibrated out-of-the-factory, ensuring a ΔE ≤ 2. Connectivity interfaces also differ in the G3223Q, featuring 2x HDMI 2.1, a DisplayPort, an audio-out jack, 2x USB-A 3.2 Gen1 port (one supporting power delivery), and a USB-B 3.2 gen1 upstream.

Both monitors come with VESA 100×100 stands that allow users to tilt, swivel and adjust their height. In addition, they are certified by TUV Rheinland as flicker-free displays with low blue light emissions. The G3223D will cost $919 and the G3223Q will go for $1,499.
