Nokia will soon enter the laptop market with the PureBook Pro

Mostly known for creating some of the most durable phones ever made, Nokia will soon debut in the laptop market. The company's first laptop will be the PureBook Pro, featuring a sleek design, an Intel 12th Gen Core i3 processor and an accessible price tag.

Although these laptops are branded as Nokia, they were actually designed by a startup called OFF Global. Initially, there will be a 15.6-inch model and a 17.3-inch one, but we might see smaller Nokia PureBook laptops, depending on the success of the series.

Looking at its aesthetics, Nokia's laptop seems to have been inspired by the 14-inch MacBook Pro, with its rounded edges and flat aluminium top cover, coloured in blue, red, white or black. The 15-inch model is 1.8cm thin and weighs about 1.7Kg, while the 17-inch model is 2cm thin and weighs close to 2.5Kg.

As for internal specifications, it packs an Intel Core i3-1220P, 8GB DDR4 RAM and a 512GB M.2 SSD. For the display, we have a 1080p IPS panel. Connectivity options include 2x USB-C ports, a USB 3.2 port, a microSD card reader and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The release date hasn't been set in stone yet, but we know European countries, Iceland, Morocco, Tunisia, Canada, and Thailand will receive it before others. The 15-inch model will be priced at €699 and the 17-inch laptop at €799.
